GT Changes?

Guys,

I was at Greektown yesterday for a couple of hours (won $150 and left) and noticed a few things that I hadn't seen before.

1. The Pick'Em machines had little white stickers on them that said,

"BONUS PLAY DOWNLOADED AT THIS MACHINE MUST BE PLAYED THROUGH"

2. A sign in front of the high roller room that said,

"COMPLIMENTRY COCKTAILS WHILE GAMING IN THE HIGH-LIMIT ROOM"

(I didn't think this this was legal?)

3. At 2:00 in the afternoon, there were about fifty people in line for the $9.95 buffet. Has the price reduction caused this?

Dolores and I will be back next Wednesday to play video poker again for most of the afternoon, then dinner afterwards. I have two golf leagues starting and gambling once a month is about all I can afford.

See my post 1689. This just started at the end of March. Note that not all of the Pick'Em machines will allow you to get your bonus play. You sometimes have to knock someone off their chair so you can get to a machine that allows it.

Yes. Ate there for the first time last weekend. Paid for it out of my comp balance. I would have even paid $10 for it.

Greektown does make it a challenge to get freeplay. If you are unlucky enough to have $15 in freeplay, you have to go through the sequence 3 times ($5 each time). Shouldn't there be a 'download all' button? Also, on one of the JOB machines, I downloaded my freeplay and took out my card by mistake. All the freeplay went back into the account and I had to go through the whole process again.

The lamb chops are gone and the shrimp is gone. $10 is the right price for that buffet.

Oh, no!!! The lamb chops are gone!!! My only favorite item there. I used to just pile up a plate of the things, order a bottle of cabernet sauvignon and enjoy. The dirty rats!!!
