First impression on walking into GVR: Wow!

A beautiful place to spend a few hours. I found a number of 9/6 machines,
but have since heard from others that there are few full pays. Comp program
is horrendous, but I rarely play for comps (Buffalo Bill's being the
exception, where it is extremely difficult *not* to get comped with minimal
play) so that was not a major problem to me.

Excellent food, beautiful grounds, very tasteful. Staff is courteous. A
very welcome alternative to the Strip.

We were there last October for the Sunday brunch. I love lox and bagels so
had my fill. Their omelet bar is nice too. We played for a while and didn't
win a lot but kept pretty even. Then watched some of the football games
before it was time to go to the PBR finals.

We will be back. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the fact that it was not
wall-to-wall people.

I was in there once, for the November VP Free lunch.
   The buffet quality is better than a lot of other joints in town. The food is fresh and well-prepared. (The company wasn't too bad, either.)
   The casino was clean, spacious and well-ventilated.
   PLUS- It was my first winning session on my Nevada trip, and I earned the lower-level jacket. My brother's girlfriend liked it when I gave it to her.
