I just returned from Greektown after a strange experience with the
Players Club Booth. Shortly after arriving, I presented my players
card and I.D. at the desk for a Food Comp Voucher. I ask what my
balance was and the lady told me she was not allowed to tell me if
the amount was over $50.00. I ask her "why not?", she responded
because the amount fluctuates. This sounds like a bunch of B.S. to
me. I had her issue a comp for $10.00 and left to eat. Why the big
secret? When I was last there the begining of January, I was told my
balance and it was over $50.00. Has anyone else had a simular
experience?
Greektown's New Policy ?
When I lived in Michigan and played at Greektown frequently, I
encountered the exact same experience. And I seem to recall asking
the same type of question, and getting a similar doublespeak answer.
If I had not been leaving the casino to eat, I probably would have
started up with them. Oh yeah, did I mention that I don't miss
playing there? God willing, I will never set foot in that place
again.
