The biggest problem I see with a lot of large companies (Greektown included) is that the patrons are unsure where to take complaints. The phone companies are famous for shuffling you around until you just give up and don’t pursue your issue.
Steve runs the slot department but might know who to talk to about maintenance issues at Greektown. I believe Greektown is under severe financial pressure to make revenue numbers so I’m not sure they are going to spend some money on new workers. It’s tough to show the correlation between better restrooms and a better bottom line.
There was a huge customer service study a while ago and Nordstrom was the hands down leader in customer service. They also concluded that the amount spent on customer service was more than was generated in revenues. From a strictly business stand point, customer service does not pay.
