I've played at that damn bar when the progressive was over $5,000
about four or five times now and have dropped about $1500 so far.
Those damn royals don't come on demand. About the only games worth
playing where you can last awhile are 9/6 JB and Bonus Poker because
of the 10 for the two-pair.
I did win about $400 playing NSUD on one occasion, but I hit and
ran after only a few hands. I will keep an eye on it though and have
put aside $5,000 to play it every now and then.

Was over to Motor City and checked out their new "Pick a Pair"
game. They do cut back the payouts on the straight flush and four-of-
kind, but everything below those are the same which is more important.
I played for about three hours and won a little bit while sipping a
couple of brews.
I tried to get something to eat at their new deli, but after waiting
for about ten minutes watching people trying to figure out how to work
the new comp and order yourself machines, I gave up and left.
I still like to play Pick'Em for some strange reason. The stratefgy
is fairly simple, it doesn't require a lot of concentration, and you
can play close to 7 or 8 hundred hands per hour.I also think it's
because it was just about the first good paying game I found over at
Windsor Casino when they first opened.
I'm playing in a Texas'Hold'em tournament Saturday in Armada. I
don't play in too many as they can be quite boring since you have to
fold most hands and then just sit and watch so much.
