Heard on the local Detroit radio that outgoing Gov John Engler made a deal to
grant a lisence for another casino in Michigan and the Chippewa's ( who own
Greektown) are the leading candidate for the new casino. Tentative locations
were given as Romulus ( by the airport) and Flint.
Interesting. A last minute deal with the outgoing Mayor that was a surprise to
everyone. Also, how did Greektown get the lead in consideration? I wonder if
I'll be allowed to play at Greektown 2 after being barred at Greektown 1?
