Greektown NSUD

When I was at Greektown recently, the NSUD at the $1 level had been downgraded on the machine I was playing. All of the other machines were full so I didn't have a chance to check them. At $.25 and $.50, still fullpay. This was at the end machine in the center section closest to the Eclipz bar.

Can someone check the rest of the machines in that center section at the $1 level if you get a chance?

Thanks
Keith

Sounds like the beginning of the end.

I checked total of 3 machines. All full NSUD at $1 level.

We were at Greektown yesterday afternoon and the Eclipz bar corridor was closed off "for renovations". Doesn't sound good.

They were putting in new carpets.
The machines along the left wall going to the bar were still in place.

How many points do you get at Greektown Casino per dollar per play on their slot machines?
Or how much for 1 point?

Wow, that's the first post to this newsgroup in quite a while. Nick, here's how it works on video poker:

On the card reader, you will register 1 countdown point for every $5 coin in. 4 count down points ( 4 * $5 coin in) = one actual slot club point. So it's $20 per slot club point. $150 slot club points = $5 in cash back so it takes $3000 coin in to get $5 in cash back or .16667% cash back.

I don't know they choose to make it more confusing than it needs to be but they do. I believe slots are 2 times the video poker rate so $1500 coin in would get you $5 in cash back or 0.333%.

Here is something interesting. In the last week or so, both my wife and I have had comps added to our account. The amount added is about what the amount that expired 3 or 4 months was. So, either Greektown finally realized their expiring comp policy was grossly unfair to customers or gaming came in and said if comps are convertible to cash, you can't let them expire.

From my records, comps are 2 times cash back. So comp rate on vp is 0.333% and on slots is 0.667%.

Thanks johnny;
I have lost $120 plus churnning the small wins and only ended up with 19 points added to my acount. I make sure my card is allways in and is read by the machine or I do't play it,
They also moved all the VP 's to the room close to the people mover, now there are Vp in the 4 rooms in the none smoking area, still have them at the bars.

Nick, 19 points on your card is $380 coin in. It is certainly possible to lose $120 on $380 coin in. In the very short term, 30% losses do occur.
