I found out from a fellow player that for the promo on June 8th, they actually did award cash based on what the flyer said instead of their strange take on the english language. Maybe my MGCB filing helped. I'm sure I am off of Gtown's Christmas card list for that one.
Greektown did reply to my complaint and of course missed the entire point of my filing. Their brief reply stated that cash awarded to my account was correct. That is true because I stopped playing once I heard that the numbers needed to get the advertised cash back were much higher than stated. They also conveniently ignored the fact that my wife earned her $10 which was supposed to be posted in 15 minutes. It wasn't and instead of waiting out the 45 minute line to go through a 15 minute ordeal with the booth people, she didn't collect it.
