Greektown is horrible!

I'm sorry but I must admitit. I went to Greektown today. Their new
alliance with Harrah's, in particular Rio, generated a very generous
mailer. $40 in chips or tokens X2 and a $75 food voucher for Alley
Grille or Grapevine. So we went after playing a bit at Motor City
where I hit 4 deuces. It's as stated in the VPFree database,
absolutely horrendous. I saw one 9/7 Double Bonus machine at the
circle bar, but the bill acceptor didn't work. Multiple machines out
of service, fuzzy screens, old dirty machines. Just terrible! The
Bonus DW won't accumulate points, but it was at $1600, the %100
point. I got my $40 and lost it playing BDW in 20minutes. Believe
it or not the place was packed. Most of the VP machines were
occupied too. Amazing! We'll be back in two weeks to eat at the Ally
Grill and retrive my $40. They're not getting another nickel from
me. It's so sad though, I loved playing that oversized multigame
progressive back a couple years ago. Too bad.

As old VP Pappy always says, "Never fall in love with a casino, it
will only break your heart."

When GT first opened, their slots boss said in an interview, that
he was a fan of Bob Dancer and would have an excellent inventory of
video poker games. After a short period of time, he was let go and
it's been going down hill ever since. (at least for vp players)

There's no sense complaining (although I do) as it's their casino,
and their money. If they don't want vp players in their place, it's
their prerogative.
