VP PAPPY'S RANTINGS & RAVINGS ON GREEKTOWN CASINO
1. Your GT web site takes too long to download. At my age, I don't
have that kind of time to waste sitting in front of a computer
waiting for the damn thing to download. And no one can wait that long
and remain awake.
2. Put up some signs in the bathrooms that say, "PLEASE! WASH YOUR
HANDS BEFORE LEAVING THE BATHROOM!" I watch a lot of guys do their
business and just walk out every time I'm there.
I would not want to play the same machines or handle money that
those jokers have just had in their filthy little hands.
3. And! While I'm at it, re-do the bathrooms, they're out-dated and
inadequate. Some only have three urinals in them and one of those is
usually for guys under 5 foot tall. And the last time I
checked...very few pigmy's gamble in casinos.
4. And!! Keep the urine off the floor around the urinals in the
men's rooms! Assign one guy just for that job alone. It's disgusting
to see it. People walk in it and then walk around the casino. The
cleanup staff should be the most concerned. (can you say hepatitis)
5.Give Steve Senk a raise. He's a good, caring employee and we like
him. (at least the vp players that I've talked to)
6.You need more ticket cashing machines, especially for the
weekends. Long lines are frustrating. And maintain the ones that are
in place. Too many are broken.
7.You need another snack type bar downstairs. The one upstairs is
not enough and is very crowded during peak hours.
8.Start pulling out some of your oldest machines. They keep breaking
down and look bad in their present condition.
9. Clean, clean, clean. Your place can never be too clean.
10. And finally, make sure every employee treats the customers with
friendliness, dignity and respect mo matter how stupid they seem.
Every customer has paid for the right to be a gambling idiot if they
want to. They are the lifeblood of every casino.
"Choosing a casino is like choosing your friends. You have to hang
out with them awhile before you find the ones you trust."

"The battle is not between you and the casino, it's between you
and your ego."
