OK, I checked out those $1 progressives today. The Royal was at about $4,600
at 3PM. There have been some changes!
1. As reported, the Bonus Poker game now pays 175 for any 4-of-a-kind.
There are no bonus quads. Therefore, this is just an 8/5 JoB with a boost in the
quad payoff.
2. There is 10/6 DDB. That's not a typo........I triple-checked it!
3. 9/6 JoB is still there.
4. NSUD, too!
5. The White Hot Aces is there, too, although I'm not familiar with the game
and can't verify the payback percentage. Here's the entire schedule (5-coin
pays):
400 SF
1200 Aces
600 quad 2-3-4
250 other quad
45 FH
25 FL
20 ST
15 trips
5 2P or JoB
My personal thought - I wouldn't play the DDB or the WHA because of the
W2G if you hit Aces/Kicker (DDB) or Aces (WHA). Remember, in Michigan, if you
get a W2G, you owe State income tax on it. PERIOD.

You're right, this almost certainly has to be about Greektown. Motor City
has gone right in the crapper, as far as video poker, ever since the Ilitch
family (of Little Caesar's Pizza fame) bought the joint. I'll be at Greektown
today to cash in a $40 bounceback, and will check it out.- Brian in MI

These two changes are at the $1 progressive upstairs next to the crap
tables. ACES Bonus Poker is no longer on these machines, they now have
White Hot aces at 99.57% Also, the 8/5 bonus pay table has been changed,
and it is in the players favor. Now all 4-of-a-kinds pay $175. That takesthe Payback Percentage to 99.66%. When the progressive meter reaches
$4,700 these games become 100% payback.
