Hey, everybody - they're EIGHTY YEARS OLD!!
I expect when I'm 80, my main concern will not be whether someone younger than me gets a shot at the machines I'm playing, I'll just want to hope I am able to show up myself each day and play, if that's what still gives me enjoyment - and that I'm smart enough to still know a good machine when I see it.
If there are any left to be seen when I'm 80.
If, by that time, my wife decides to learn VP in order to spend time with me (more likely she'll continue to hope I go away for a couple days now and then!), I expect she'll need a big cheat sheet too.
And I most likely will not be too concerned about whether that game is there in a month - at that point, I think my concerns will mostly be "today-focused".
Could it kill the game? Sure! Should others be bothered by this? Sure! But is there any good reason to expect them to behave differently at this stage in their life? Probably not.
