Great Plays in Reno

I'd like to thank Mark for sharing information on the Silver Legacy
offer for $250 up front and $250 after $25,000 play. I wrote the SL
director of marketing (David Fox) requesting in on this offer.
Despite the fact that my history there was insignificant .25 play, he
offered me $0 up front and $125 upon completion of $12,500 in play.
I took them up on the offer last weekend and collected the $125 after
earning 625 points. Fact is, I lost my shirt while playing the $ DB
progressive, but that is really irrelevant. It was a great play none
the less.

Here's another great play. The Peppermill has an excellent Funbook
for ABC bowlers. Included are coupons for:
Ace high straight - 40 coins $40 max
All face card Full House - 40 coins $40 max
Four cards of a royal flush - 40 coins $40 max
Four of a kind - 40 coins $40 max
Straight Flush - 40 coins $40 max
Royal Flush - 100 coins $100 max
$10 Table game match play
$5 Table game match play
$10 Free Ace at BJ
$5 Free Ace at BJ
You need to be an ABC member to get the Funbook. If you aren't a
member you can join on line at www.bowl.com. It will cost you $16.
The coupons expire on July 3rd. You get the book at the Peppermill
promotions booth.
I thought I'd be able to cash in the first 4 coupons in an hour or
two no problem. I got an Ace high straight in the first 20 minutes.
After 1 hour 40 minutes I cashed in 4 parts of a royal. After 2
hours and 20 minutes I finally got a quad. Despite playing a total
of 3 hours 55 minutes, those were the only bonuses I cashed in. I
still can't believe I didn't get an all face card FH. The vagaries
of VP variance constantly amaze me. I wish you better results.

Thanks for the info haas: you're welcome to mine.
I also spent more than $250 to get my $250 cashback my last visit,
coincidentally also on those $1 DDB progs at Silver. Feel like a
sap, but I've hit two Royals and 2 quad A w/kicker on those same
machines in the past year. So, you never know.

I'm hitting Peppermill at the end of this month.
My last trip there in March, I sat next to an "ABC Bowler". He
spotted the Quads on my $1 DDB and said calmly - "Hey-I got a coupon
for that hand." We split the $40 I got with no hassle from the
attendant.

Thanks for the website! I'd wondered how to get the fun book
legitimately. I'll give it a whirl this month.
I got my own bowling ball - that makes me a legitimate bowler!

I would think I can cash the 5 VP coupons of $40 rather easily -
extra $200 for $16 investment. And another $100 for a Royal, well,
dreams are part of the build-up aren't they?
