Benihana's Japanese restaurant in the Las Vegas Hilton (and possibly all
Benihana's) is having a great deal that goes til Jan. 31 (call and ask if
your restaurant is participating). Two Filet Mignon dinners for 39. This is
about half price. Plus, I was able to get an additional discount of 25%
off the bill by showing the Hilton's "Hot Spot" sticker. Vegas locals get
an additional 25% off restaurant prices at Hilton restaurants (go to the
slot club, show Vegas ID, they put sticker on your slot card).
The dinner consists of delicious onion soup, salad with Japanese-type
ginger dressing (tell waiter if you don't want that dressing), teppanyaki style
cooking complete with a "show" that includes shrimp, filet mignon, onions,
eggplant, mushrooms, and white rice. Cocktails, more appetizers, and fried
rice are available at an extra charge. The portions are quite large and
filling.
