I'm trying to figure out their strategy here, and I'm not succeeding.
The Palms opened offerring a bushel-ful of full pay games.
Then, they downgraded the promotions you could earn on those full-pay
or 100%+ machines.
Then, they removed some of the machines entirely.
Meanwhile, the comps you earned from significant play were not equal
to some major Strip properties, which the Palms most certainly is not.
So what is our future? Casinos know there is a small yet educated
bunch of "us" out there who understand the games and have
a "fighting" chance. They want our money but want to reward our play
as little as possible. That drives us to frequently examine sites
like vpFree Las Vegas index to see where the decent games are.
I posted earlier to never get "comfortable" in any casino.
That statement has never been more true.
