Grazzi gifts/ Harrahs Great Gift Wrapup

I attended the Grazzi Gifts at the Venetian. The selection gets worse each
year. It seemed the gifts for points was extremely bad this year, and
required a huge amount of points for gifts. At least they had some omaha steak
options.

Why don't they just give FREE PLAY, like MGM/Mirage does?

Meanwhile, the Harrah's Vegas Great Gift Wrapup is coming soon. At least
they have a lot of gifts, but no free play (sigh). Still, we have trouble
finding anything we can use, since our house already has just about as many DVDs,
VCRs, coffee makers, TVs, chairs, etc. we can use. I wish they would just
give MONEY!!!!
Argh.

But if you are going - the best thing to do is to check their website
_www.greatgiftwrapup.com_ (http://www.greatgiftwrapup.com) in advance. You can see
how many points you have, and then check on the items they have. Print out
copies of each item you want, it will save you a lot of time. Be aware that
at the actual gift wrapup, there will be few (if any) items that aren't listed
on the website. Some may not be on the casino floor, so you might still end
up checking the computers they have there. If you have printed out copies
of items you want in advance, and figured out as much as possible your point
totals and how many items you can get, you will be ahead of the game.

Generally you can ship items to other people as well, so bring along
addresses for anyone you want to receive gifts.

Canadians will find they have to pay a lot more points to ship to Canada. I
don't believe you can ship to Alaska or Hawaii either (check website for
this).

If you don't have a room, you can just walk in.

Giftwrapup points come only from your play in Las Vegas - so if you have
accumulated points from play elsewhere and Las Vegas, your point total will only
be that from Vegas.

Harrah's GGWU does ship to Hawaii, based on personal experience.
