I'm going to CB from 4/11-4/18. During that time they'll be having
their annual battle of the bands and chili cookoff. Looking
forward to that.

So you are from out-of-town? The CB/EW buffet deal keeps getting expanded,
they make you earn 20 points, and then cash in 40 ($1 CB) for a buffet.
Seafood is 80 points.

You sound like you have done the outside tunes before at CB. I have scored a
couple of "Blues and Brews" packages in Sept. before. What a blast!

For the uniformed, they set up right outside the casino in the parking lot.
Picnic tables with overhead netting for sun control. They serve food and
beer, though you have to go inside for a comfort break. The parking lot is
slanted, so no bad viewing and the JBL sound system cranks it up.

Battle of the bands sounds good.

Yea I'm from out of town, but I like Laughlin enough that I try to
make at least two visits every year, usually in the spring and fall.
This is the first time that my visit has coincided with the battle of
the bands.

As for the CB buffet, I am usually flexible as far as buffets is
concerned except on Fridays...I do enjoy CB's seafood buffet.
Usually I just pay cash instead of doing the comp thing. I've
been saving my comps for the expensive visit I'll have should I
get to visit Mandalay Bay sometime.

I would like knowing one thing though. Since I've only been to
CB's seafood buffet, are there any others out there with the same
or better quality for the price?

I can't hardly wait!!!

Edgewater Friday night seafood buffet is very good. I think it's the
best in Laughlin. While I haven't tried the CB seafood buffet the CB
regular buffet sucks compared to the Edgewater.

The River Palms late night buffet is still $3.99.

Some of the guys I work with do the Regency all you can eat fish
although I haven't tried it.

Last time I was in Laughlin I talked to someone at the CB
seafood buffet that had also eaten at the Edgewater seafood
buffet. He claimed that between the two the CB was better.
'Can't exactly remember why...maybe either the crab at the CB or
the variety. Otherwise I agree that the regular CB buffet probably
does suck in comparison to the EW.
