Grand Victoria vpFREE2 information

Has anything changed at Elgin casino since the last updates to the data base?

Any hints on the location of the better $1 machines?

I have not been there in almost two years. Downstairs they had a number of
single line $! MG with NSUD, 9-6 jacks etc.

Upstairs toward the right side from the entrance on the other side of the
table game area they had "All Stars" MG/MD $1/$2/$5/$10. I know that STP on
those included 9-6 jacks and Multi-Strike in those games were full pay.

I could not find any of the machines listed in vpFREE2. The best game I found was $1 3 line 9/6 DDB. The Deuces on this machine were Illinois. Other deuces on MG machines at the $1 level where 60 for 5oak and 50 for SF, there were plenty of 8/5 JOBs available at the $1 level. I don't know anything about other denoms.

Cash back is .1%, and comps accumulate at one fifth of that.

Thanks Howard for trying to help, I could find no VP on the lower level at all. You are very helpful for all the Chicago-Land vp.

If so, that is very sad as this used to be one of the better $1 houses. At
the $2/$5/$10 level they had APDW on 3/5 plays. I stopped going there many
years ago after an incident. (I went once with family about two years ago
and played $1 NSUD and STP 9/6 jacks.)

I was treated very rudely by the "Brighton Club" host when asking for my
previous year's win/loss statement. (The year before the host printed it on
the spot.) Since I was there, I decided to play and the $1 7-5 bonus
progressive was in the high $7800 range making it about a 100% play. Sure
enough, 45 minutes later I held KQ of hearts and filled the rest on the draw
for $7889.53. (Still my biggest single hit ever.) They refused to give me a
check. Moreover this was still when the "cruising" requirements existed. I
was wearing one of their leather and suede jackets. They had an armored car
shootout about six weeks earlier. I had security escort me to the car and
went directly to the bank. Luckily this ended well. GV has had two other
scandals I know about. (The cashiers were skimming coins out of the bags &
one of their drawings was fixed.) 0.1% cash back has been the rule for many
years there on VP.

I found some full pay JOB, NSUD, SDB, and TDB on $1/$2 Multi-Strike, but that was about it. The single line $1 machines I used to play are all now short pay.
