Grand Sierra comping/free play

Could someone tell me how the GS CompsPlus program works? Is it all one account or is the Free Play portion separate from the comps portion? If you use comps for food does it reduce the Free Play balance?

Also, any ideas on what kind of coin-in they are looking for to keep offers (room + $250 Free Play) coming?

Thanks for your help.

I stopped there in Jan. for 2 hours. I put $3600 thru and lost $500. I just got my first mail offer and was very dissapointed; $35 rooms during the week and $25FP. If I had played $4000 I may have gotten something better. That seems to be a magic number at a lot of places.

Mostly Quarter 3 play 9/6 DDB...2 regular quads in 2 hours. Also played a little Wheel Poker and 9/5 DDB Dream Card Poker.

POINTS can be earned by playing machines.
COMPS can be earned by playing tables.
The POINTS can be played out as slot-play, comps are only good for food (points can be used for food too, but use the comps first)
I can tell you, even as a Green Card holder, if you earn it via table play, you don't get ANYTHING. I don't think it's all that relevant as this is a vP website...but just wanted to throw that out there.
However, I have a separate account for machine play, and I would guess I put about 5k coin-in per day, twice a month, and it keeps me in free rooms with $100 free-play per month...

I gave them $14k+ one day on 3/5-play Jacks, with some 8/5 BP Wheel Poker, and get 2 nights and $100 Free Play per month.
