Grand Siera Marketing offers.......

I've never been to the Grand Siera, but I see they have 9/6 JOB Progressives in quarters (my wife's favorite game). Comp rate also seems pretty decent.

For out-of-towners, how is the bounce back offers? Is it pretty easy to get room offers? Do they come off your comp balance? (like Pepp)
Any freeplay with the offers?

And in general terms, how do people feel about the place?

I see they have some double point promotions, but it appears to relate to 'slot' machines only, not VP.

Thanks for any input,

Mike in Little Rock

Also, is your comp balance the 'don't ask, won't tell' type, or can you tell your comp balance on your machine or other kiosk?

I was there for two days in September. Had a mailer for $100 of free slot play along with free room offer.
You can see your comp balance on the machines. Room offers do not come off comp balance.
I'm amazed at the amount of free play offered for my level of play.
We used to stay here as a filler hotel around another core hotel reservation. Always gave them a little play but nothing heavy. Yet the offers continue to come.
I may have to make this a core hotel for me going forward. We didn't use all of our comps on food. The balance normally stay on our account from year to year.

Called and asked for a Saturday check in during the Reno Air Show. No problem.

Picked up free play with no problems. They give you vouchers with the denomination that you want. Must be played through once before cashing.

I like the casino's low key ambiance. I get the impression that it doesn't get real crazy here. Lots of room on the gaming floor. This place is huge and could handle a lot more guests. Not sure if they will ever get that busy again.
