Some of the following information is already in the vpFREE data
base; for exact locations, please refer to the vpFREE data base.
Reno, Atlantis: Try the two amazing $1 Game Makers on the left side
of the Atrium Bar with AA, 10-7-80 DB, and Pick'em. Two more Game
Makers with 10-7-80 DB are located on the right side of the stage.
Two banks of 12 machines each of 25c DB progressives.
Reno, Peppermill: 6 MultiStrikes 5c/10c/25c with full pay everything
including Deuces Wild, KBJW, DB.
Reno, Silver Legacy: 8 MG 25c full pay machines, 2 have DW, others
have KBJW, DB, and Double Deuces. Also two banks of 25c FPDW
progressives.
Reno, Harah*s: Looked for the $1 FPDW there last week, it was too
good too be true. Perhaps they were never there at all.
Tahoe, Harvey's: $1 Deuces Deluxe with 4700-coin royal. About 10 of
these Sigmas (they were recently moved, but are within 50 feet of
their previous locations). Also same games in 25c but are advertised
as Deuces Wild Bonus, 2 of these remained in the Video Porker Bar,
another 6 are now located at the exit of the Mountain Tower
elevators. You'll also find 25c Pick'em there (the right 3 machines
out of a bank of about 10), as well as 5c Pick'em (about 10
machines).
Tahoe, Harrah*s: The $1 Pick'em and $1 10-7-80 DB are but a distant
fond memory. Still, there are 12 25c Pick'em at the keno lounge just
outside the North Beach Deli. $1 NSU are plentiful, and the
Rendezvous Bar has 25c Double Deuces and JOB. Also there are several
25c para/quasi/demi/pseudo full pay Deuces that pays 5 to 1 for
quads. Beware of the fake 10-7 DB machines there, they only pay 4 to
1 for straights.
Tahoe, Horizon: Ther are at least 4 25c JOB with 4700-coin royal;
Triple Play 25c NSU; and if you look hard enough, you'll find the
single multi-denomination NSU amoung a bank with Extremely Ugly
Deuces. 8 hours of 25c 4700 JOB in one month will net you $50 X 2
BBCs per month for the next three months, 4 hours will net half of
that.
North Tahoe, The Biltmore: Don't go there. I somtimes worry about my
persoanl safty outside a casino (e.g. when I walked at night to and
from the Silver Legacy and the [late] Sundowner in Reno). The Tahoe
Biltmore is the only casino where I fear for my personal safty while
I am inside the property.
