This is not about a Royal.. I'm still waiting for that.. but the very first
pull today playing 10/7 DB was a pair of aces and the other two popped up on
the redraw. First time I've ever had a great hand just sitting down.
Anyone else have any stories about that first pull?

My best was at Sam's Town a few years back. First hand on the Sam's Town deuces machine, dealt garbage, drew 4 ducks on the redraw for $500.

My best first pull was at the Cal-Neva, in downtown Reno, several
years ago. I had been playing a JOB Prog. which was hovering around
$3000. It finally swallowed my $20.00 after keeping me occupied for
quite awhile. I was doing VERY POORLY, and despite the juicyness of
the play, didn't feel like chasing the RF anymore. Some woman had
been lurking behind me for some time, and literally bounded into my
vacated seat. I went to the Sports Bar, scarfed down a $1.00 hotdog,
called my office, complained about my empty pockets, visited the
facility, and then wandered back to the same prog. The same woman
was still playing the machine I had left. When she saw me
approaching, she nearly knocked me over to get to the machine next
to that one, which was now empty. She was muttering about how lousy
the machine was that she and I had been playing. Due to sheer
cussedness, I sat down again, inserted the last $20 that I was going
to risk, and drew, on the FIRST hand the AQ of hearts. Of course the
rest of the beautiful hearts followed. The poor woman, who was now
sitting next to me, almost had apolexy! I can't say that I really
felt sorry for her, as she was unpleasant. But, in my defense, I did
TRY to explain that she wouldn't have drawn the same hand. I wasn't
all that unhappy that she didn't believe a word I said.

Last month at Casino Monte Lago, I was dealt a Royal on the 1st hand
while playing 9/6 DDB on a nickel Spin Poker machine. Nice $1800 hit.

Last year I needed a couple more points for a drawing at the Sands in
AC and the time cut off was approaching. Stuck $100 in the $5 JOB and
got 9 - K club SF . . . dealt. I did not win the drawing. lol.
