And speaking of Wynn, Lucky Lucy and I will be staying there next
week. We did get an offer in the mail last summer for a couple free
nights, the same one everyone else got. On a whim, I called and
asked to speak with a slot host. I explained we were not able to
take advantage of the offer but would be in LV in a couple weeks.
She didn't hesitate to offer 3 comped nights Sun - Thurs, we took
two.
I mentioned they must have kept a database of customers from
previous Wynn properties -- Bellagio, TI, etc. -- but she said the
only customer list they had was from the Desert Inn. We were only
there once and that was to get a slot card for our collection before
they closed. I was suprised the slot host gave us comped rooms with
no play history.
Looking forward to staying and playing there.
We will also be at the Paris. Now that they are a Harrah's property
we are getting offers. Too bad they haven't changed over to Total
Rewards yet.

My friend Siona and I visited Wynn in Sept. Siona played 500
points and I
played about 900 VP. At then end we both got 2 free buffets for
new signups.
Also I believe that Siona got $10 cashback at the time and I also
got
cashback (not sure of exact amounts of cashback). This was a
good offer,
considering that dinner buffets (excellent) at Wynn cost about
$30+ each.
Now here is the great part - we just got mailers. Siona got $50
free play
for each week for 4 weeks; I got $75 free play for 4 weeks (must
be picked up
Mon-Thurs). We used local Vegas addresses. That's a lot of free
play for
the amount we played.
Also it blows Palms skimpy freeplay offers out of the water.
I believe Wynn comps remain in your account only 30 days for
locals, and
