Hello all, not posting here to brag (I only play nickels anyway), but I
want to see if anyone else has a stretch of good luck like I have been
experiencing. Since my trip to Vegas in May, here are my recent jackpots:

May:
$200 RF @ Palace Station (5-Nickels)
$250 4 Deuces @ Slots-A-Fun (Loose Deuces, two sets within 10 hands)
$50 4 Deuces (Orleans)
$400 RF @ Tropicana AC (10-Nickels)

June:
$800 RF @ Tropicana AC (Two RF's [10-Nickels] within 30 minutes on the same
machine)

July:
$400 RF @ Harrah's Chester (10-Nickels)
$100 4 Deuces (Same machine, 15 minutes later)

That being said, has anyone else experienced a good streak like this? Should I
quit while ahead, haha?

Of course, we will assume that, with all these hits, you are ahead -- it is entirely possible to accompany all that good luck with interspersed bad streaks that take the win down a notch or even turn it into a net loss.

There have been lots of posts on streaks here, both good and bad. My two personal favorites in my own play were (1) going to a casino on my birthday weekend (a good thing to begin with) and hitting two $1 single-line royals in the same weekend, and (2) playing $0.50 3-play, getting a royal, and getting another one within 10 min., before they'd come back with the money for the first one.

That's as good as it gets for me on streaks. When I played higher denoms, I was lucky enough to hit a RF on $5 machine twice, spaced a few years apart, but which sustained my play for quite a while, even at that money-sucking level, where you can load up with $1000 in credits and be getting out your wallet five or ten minutes later. My current $1 play is much more relaxed for me, and I sympathize with those who play quarters and nickels as well.

I try not to remember the bad streaks, but I know I hit a royal a couple weekends ago, and that it was my first in a looooong time, and definitely NOT enough to make up for the preceding losing sessions, which were occurring almost without fail on fairly short sessions (not my choice, just the way the trip money held up).

It happens, both ways, and the good news when you are winning is that the machine doesn't know you had a good streak, so is not programmed to "even things out" - you're ahead, and your starting point from here forward is "I'm ahead right now", so enjoy it.

The bad news works the same way, but we won't talk about that...
