Based on what I saw last night, there is no way in the world that the
pool will be open in the next 60 days. I would bet it will not be open
until at least 2007.
But you can enjoy the spacious nine seat "temporary" sports book.

I stayed at the GN the last week in July.
At that time, the "pool" was nothing more than a huge hole in ground.
The constant construction noises (jackhammers et al) can be
distracting to say the least. While this cacophony is at it's worst
in the wee hours of the morning, it does go on all day long.
I recommend ear phones and the dulcid sounds of symphonic music from
a portable radio, while playing.
