Golden Nugget sale

It looks like the sale of the Golden Nugget in Laughlin, and downtown
Las Vegas could be a done deal as soon as January 22nd. That is the
date the Gaming Commission will meet to consider the sale. The
surprise news is that tennis star Andre Agassi will be a part owner.
He and former International Game Technology Chairman Chuck Mathewson
recently invested $5 million into the Poster Financial Group toward
the purchase. It will be interesting to see what changes they decide
to make to the Laughlin property.

But Andre (Carrier) already runs the joint as the GM!

So my bartender at the Cheetah's bar did not have the scoop. Stu
(who pops me a cold one, even when walking by) said Tim and Tom (is
that right) would have the keys by Christmas.

So stockman, where do you dig up all this info?

When the sale was originally announced, they had hoped to finish the
sale by the end of the year, but that will not happen.

"So my bartender at the Cheetah's bar did not have the scoop.
So stockman, where do you dig up all this info?" I always get my
information from reliable sources: barbers and cab drivers. Naw,
there was an article in the Las Vegas Review Journal.

"Tim and Tom (is that right)" Yes, Tim Poster and Thomas Breitling.

"But Andre (Carrier) already runs the joint as the GM!" I am not
sure who he is, but it is not unusual for the new team to come in and
start rolling up their sleeve's and get to work before the take over.
