Certainly the tournaments were a draw but mostly for us out of town folks
who place a value on the rooms and food. For the locals the room and food comps
were not of much value. Maybe the free play recently announced for October,
November and December
led to the reduction in pay schedules. The $1 3 and 5 play JB were only
break even at .33 cash back and the tournaments with 200 entries provided only
about $2-3 hundred potential equity.
