What is a "Vp Hustler"?
"Hustler" is a descriptive term that casino hustlers use to describe
themselves and others. If two hustlers are talking about someone else
and one says "He's a hustler," he is telling the other hustler that the hustler
in question is also a hustler. Which basically means that the guy is a sharp
gambler and, supposedly, only bets when he has an advantage.
Some hustlers are just half-assed hustlers. Like a hustler who only knows
how to beat bonus machines. Other hustlers are well rounded hustlers
who know how to beat bonus machines, video poker, poker, knows how to
value bet sports, work promotions, etc.
Most hustlers have big leaks somewhere in their boat. They may make the
money off of bonus machines and blow it in the horse book or make it at
poker and blow it at craps. Or it could be drugs or alcohol. Sadly, the
bonus machine hustlers are out in the cold these days as 98% of the bonus
machines have disapeared and these particular hustlers have no other
gambling skill. I know more than one hustler that made at least way up in
6 figures off the bonus machines in the day but are flat broke today. The
bonus machine hustlers pray would go like this "Lord if you will please send
us some more bonus machines we promise not to blow the money this
time."
And I don't think one could describe GN as a VP hustler's paradise. They
had a few good plays but 98% of their VP was very bad. Good luck.
