To my surprise the Golden Nugget/Downtown sent me a postcard. This is
the first Mail ever received from this joint. I am in good standing at Golden
Nugget/Laughlin.
It just invites me to the 2005 Bikefest September 15-18. No real offer just
some phone nimbers. I played maybe $200 coin-in in April.
So what is going on with Landrys takeover? My important sources (bartenders)
in Laughlin tell me that Andre Carrier, the Laughlin GM, is now running both
joints. Andre has survived the changes in Laughlin...MGM/MIrage to Tim&Tom to
Barrick (sort of) to Landrys.
He was quite visible in Laughlin, doing the drawings and such. He also did a
weekly football tout program that ran on the local Laughlin TV2. This was
taped on Thursday afternoons in Tarzans sports lounge. So anyone got some
gossip about GN?
