Was this something for locals?

To my knowledge, the Golden Nugget has followed the MGM Mirage policy since
they were owned by them of comps are generally trip specific with no banking.
(A host would have the ability to make some minor adjusting.)

Kelso,

What did you do take a Rip-Van-Winkle style nap?

To review, MGM/Mirage sold the the two Golden Nuggets, what four years ago
to Tim & Tom, the internet.com boys. They had some fun and made a crappy TV
show. They sold out to Landry's, a Houston based restaurant company with about
a dozen brands. Landry's wasn't in the casino biz, so folks were twitching a
bit.

Landry's put some of their branded restaurants in the Vegas and Laughlin
casinos and basically tuned-down the casino floors. The two slot clubs had the
same name, but acted indepentantly of each other.

In Laughlin you had two accounts going, a cashback and a banked comp
account...easily refenced by card insertion. In Vegas, they hid any comps from you.

So I am twitching a bit about my Laughlin-GN accounts. They really have not
messed with the system through three owners now at this joint.
