It has long been the practice that the slot hosts on leaving one property
seem to take the VIP list with them. A few years back, I believe, the Trop
tried to prosecute some former employees that took their names to the Desert
Inn.
I played at Caesar's Palace in the early nineties. One of the hosts moved to
the Monte Carlo and then later to the Golden Nuggest and I seem to get
mailings from them thereafter. Ditto on other hosts that I came across over
the years.
