Golden Nugget Laughlin offer for new members to match offer

Got an interesting offer from Golden Nugget in Laughlin, for new members only, they will match a free play offer for up to 1 1/2 times plus give u 2-3 room nights. My husband never joined, so we are doing this. Apparently you can use any offer from anywhere and actually keep the offer, so he is using one he has from Biloxi for $375. You get equal free slot play or chips on arrival. The extra 1/2 requires you do a certain amount of play during your stay, apparently 7000-9000 points for $375, the host was a little unclear. I'm not sure if there is a maximum they will match. Our mailer mentions various amounts up to $500 but might be more. Offer good til April 30. For more info contact casino host Gloria Deal, 7023575640, gdeal@goldenugget.com.

Offers like this can be quite good. I wonder if any of you know other casinos with similar "we match your offer" offers.

Wow, thats a brilliant strategy for them. It’s an excellent way to find “pre-qualified” players. If other properties are sending you juicy offers, that means you’re a player, so we want you. That’s pretty good

I got the same offer from the Golden Nugget in Vegas.

Would this apply to those who have cards at Golden Nugget in Las Vegas but have not played in Laughlin?

“Would this apply to those who have cards at Golden Nugget in Las Vegas but have not played in Laughlin?”

Probably not, but wouldn’t hurt to ask. I’ve gotten a couple of these “match-and-a-half” offers from the GN in Vegas and I didn’t see any “can also be used at the GN in Laughlin” verbiage.

I meant would I be considered a new player in Laughlin and be eligible for this offer?

I would guess that having a Las Vegas Golden Nugget card would not
count against you in Laughlin. At this time the two cards are not connected in anyway.
They look the same. However, I was just told in Las Vegas that the cards
are independent. Their Las Vegas card is currently not connected to any of the other Golden Nuggets that are in Laughlin, Atlantic City or the new
Isle Casino just purchased in Biloxi. FWIW, they did use the term “At this time”.

Just remember folks, they recently downgraded their video poker. Most Atlantic city casinos have better vp. They are also very cheap with their offers so please check every minute detail before biting.
IMHO… Tom

Thanks for this great tip! Since we’re headed to Laughlin anyway, I called Gloria and she was delightful. Got this booked in just moments, even though the FSP offer I used is expiring tomorrow. She said the limit was $500, then the additional 50% earned for $250. I didn’t ask for details on the play requirement. Nice freebie either way!
