Per Tom's request, I went back for clarification.
The new system does require more play for a point on $ than it does
on
quarters. (I guess they want to encourage more quarter play.)
They looked up their notes & told me for $ that it was $55 but my
countdown
on the bar machine was $45. On quarters it is 105 quarters or
$25.25. For 50
cents they didn't have anything down.
I was also told that this may not be consistent for all machines
within a
denomination.
The reasoning I was told without much enthusiasm is because they
will be
sending out more mailings.
I did receive two $15 bouncebacks for April & 13 Getaway pts for
rooms.
SLOT CARDS
You need new cards. Old ones don't work. If you have cards with a
gold
rectangle over black rectangle that's the old card. The new card is
a gold triangle
over a black triangle.
In some card readers you have to stick it in upside down for it to
work (bar

Here are my observations:
At the quarter level the countdown is now 105 ($26.25) for anything
better than Bonus. This is Bonus, Royalmania, Jacks and the Sigma DJ
and DDJ. The new short-pay DDJ still had 90 count as well as others.
At the dollar level the countdown for Jacks remained at 35
($17.50/point), the Bonus 7/5 4-way progressive was 45 ($22.50) but
some short-pay stuff was set a 55 (I don't know why). As always the
dollar countdown generates two points per cycle.
The fifty-cent games, best is DDJ 8/6/5 or Bonus, I did not check.
Twenty points still is $1 CB and seems still to be $2 comps. Hard to
tell since the new system does not display comp $ (they are working
on it) anymore.

The six $1 Bartops (Reef Bar) with the Bonus 7/5 4-way progressive
were actually playable on last visit. I had them to myself at
101.4% The Aces were twice the reset for the big chunk. All four
meters (quads and royal) click off at .25% of coin-in.

They put in new bill readers as well as new card readers. You do not
lose partial points during the same day at a given denomination. If
you move at say 10 countdown, the next machine starts at 10, not at
reset.

This new bounceback program, three months now, makes up for the lower
cashback, if you can cash the suckers. It appears 2x$15 is the best
you can do. My April ones were $5 and had to be cashed on a
Tuesday...March was $15, Feb was $10 cash anytime. It appears that
they are looking at 30 days ending mid-month, still a guess.
