Yea I noticed that construction next to the Regency you were talking about.
It seems like
it comes in streaks, and one streak = about six months.

They are on their third contractor at least. Then their excavation
underminded the north enterance to the Regency causing that to walkway to collapse. It
has been such an eyesore.

When I'd make my casino rounds I some GN blackjack, even for just a few
minutes. In the
past it seemed as though they had one or two $5 tables, but it was always
double down on
10 or 11 onlym, if I remember right. What I noticed Saturday night was there
were no
single deck $5 tables, only $10. Maybe that's because it was Saturday night.
But I'm
pretty sure the ability to double down on any first two cards there on
single deck is
relatively recent. I don't remember sitting at Debbie's table, from the way
you described
her. I remember an elderly man and woman dealers, and a relatively cute
younger one. All
were quite nice but the younger one was kinda quiet.

You could be right, but I never have seen anything but DOA in GNL.

CB's blackjack is definitely DOA. All of their BJ games now are 6/5 with the
exception of
the shoe. They used to pay 3/2 on their two deck game but now even that's
6/5. For a
casino I really enjoy it really hurts me to see their BJ go downhill so much.

There are some nasty normal games dealt in CB, but people still sit down to
play. The Carnival style BJ usually has the best rules in CB. The Wheel of
Madness and now the new Roulette style sidebets one had some good basic rules.
But they use a shuffle machine. I will take notes next trip.
