Did anyone get the bi-monthly calendar mailer for March/April? I am
going to miss the double point coupons if this has been discontinued.
I checked with the frontdesk (Connie) on March 1st. My Golden
Getaway points for rooms for March/April were listed in my account.
Update on the new promo, "GNL-Gold Stamps". I was able to cash the
Febraury cashback coupons at the main cage, no hassle. Since "The
Deck" was closed you could get your card stamped thru a host,
according to others scrambling to get the four stamps.
My March postcard, the dates say valid thru March 31st. I wonder if
locals have a more restrictive redemption period? They did goof up
the Janes Grill one, larger print says "Free Appetizer", fine print
says "free dessert".
I recieved a letter and a new slot card from Andre (GM). It talks
about changing out all the readers and bill acceptors. It also
mentions getting the comp account info back when inserting your card,
IGT needed a patch and Nevada Gaming approval. Very nice of them to
try to keep us informed. I just wish the website would get up to
speed.
