However, it is not in my nature to accept a
generous offer from a casino, and then stiff them on play. There is
really NOTHING for me to play there anymore. One bank of machines,
which contain 8/5BP, will not satisfy me for more than an hour or
two.
I too felt uncomfortable not playing at the Golden Nugget, while taking
advantage of the recent Slot Tournament, but the $500 win in the Tournament was
nice to pick up. I also felt that the room and comps were based on prior play
and that I had earned them with earlier play.
I told my host that I was sorry but it was not me who changed the deal.
I spoke with a slot supervisor who indicated that their plan was to continue
to offer the free play in even larger amounts after the first of the year.
I came in early for the tournament in order to use my $200 free play. I ran
my $200 through the $5 8/5 or maybe 7/5 JB progressive that was at $26k. I
knew I had to only play eight hands at $25 and thought that might be my best
play. Got lucky after 8 hands and cashed out $500. I have a $300 offer for
November and a $400 offer for December. My question is if they continue to offer
larger amounts of free play what would be the best strategy to use. I could
not find 8/5 BP in any denomation.
