How do you know how much in comp's you have? I thought they would not tell
you other than just saying yes or no when you ask. The new steak house is Vic
and Anrhony's. It is good but all ala carte and expensive. The comp's have
been reduced from $125 per person to $100 per person for the steak house. They
say any unused amount goes back in to you unknown amount of comp's avaliable.

What has been so wacky is how things work at the Golden Nugget-Laughlin. The
slot club has the same name, but is totally separate. It has full disclosure
too.

Upon card insertion you get your point total and your banked comp total in
real time dollars. Two hundred points earn $10 cb and $20 in comps. The
countdowns for VP do vary from $21.50 to 37.50 to earn a point. But the countdown
is visible and follows you around the casino. The slot card works like a debit
card for comps in the restaurants.

The bi-monthly mailer gives you double point coupons with info they are based
on a 4 am to 4 am day. Also listed are your Getaway Points for comped rooms
which you can use (1- weekday, 2- weekend, 4- special events) in anyway.

GNL even ran local Laughlin TV commicials razzing other river joints about
their lack of comp disclosure. I wish more houses would use this full
disclosure/ease of use system.
