IGT - While playing at Wynn I noticed that some
machines in the same bank displayed the credits in
dollars and others showed them as number of coins.
That puzzled me until someone showed me that if you
touch the credit amount, you can change it from
dollars to coins and back.
This feature has been around for awhile on video poker machines. Also, I played several types of slots for an article I was writing (March issue of Southern Gaming: "Do You Feel Lucky?") where you could have credits/cash option. "Texas Tea" was the one I noticed with this choice. Honestly, "Texas Tea", "Cleopatra", "Mr. Lucky" and the Eastwood games by Bally were fun to play--very entertaining.
