Golden Nugget and Now More LV Updates

Apologies if this has been mentioned before, I
haven't been able to
keep up with the list for a while, but last week I
played the Bonus
Flush machines in the Golden Nugget and when I
returned yesterday
they were gone... I don't know if they were moved.

Golden Nugget - I also noticed today that the Bonus
Flush machines at the Golden Nugget LV are gone. I
looked through the whole casino twice and did not find
them.

Golden Nugget - I did find two more $5 9/6 JoB
machines in the room they call the "Nouveau Salon"
near the Grotto Restaurant.

Cannery - Saw a sign at the buffet saying we get a 50%
discount off the regular lunch or brunch price when
paying with points and 25% off dinner. Good 7 days a
week this month.

Cannery - Saw another sign at the slot club saying
that the Tech Tickets for TV's must be redeemed by
5/31.

Ellis Island - They have closed the banquet room. That
space is being renovated and will be used for more
restaurant seating and the sportsbook, according to a
floor person.

Main Street Station - They are converting more of
their older machines to newer versions. The bank of
old $1/$2/$5 uprights between the Brew Pub and cashier
are now new, flat screen slant-tops with the same
paytables as the old machines. Best game appears to be
$1/$2/$5 8/5 BP.

Main Street Station - Played there for the first time
since they installed their new card reader system a
few months ago. I was disappointed that the card
reader didn't display session points as I played.

Bally Video Poker - Saw some new Bally video poker
machines at Red Rock Casino that have sound control
buttons. They also have speed control buttons, but
this is the first I've ever seen a sound control that
the player can adjust.

IGT - While playing at Wynn I noticed that some
machines in the same bank displayed the credits in
dollars and others showed them as number of coins.
That puzzled me until someone showed me that if you
touch the credit amount, you can change it from
dollars to coins and back. This is also true of newer
IGT machines in other casinos.

I just recently (and by accident) discovered this little trick.
Pretty cool.

I wondered how long I had been missing out on this feature.

Interestingly, you can even change the coins/credits display while a machine is locked up for a jackpot. The only other thing you can do when a machine is locked up is to view the Help/Paytable screen.

South Point - the 9/6 JoB machines in high-limit now pay 250 for a
straight flush. Strangely, they made this change for all
denominations and didn't keep it at 239 for the $5 denomination.

Orleans - the high-limit area is supposedly going to be completely re-
worked soon, both physically in terms of layout and how it looks, and
hopefully also what games are offered.

Treasure Island - within the next few months, the high-limit slots
area will be moved over near the high-limit lounge, where the table
games are.
