Goldcoast A mailer - more bad news

As reported to me second hand, Goldcoast now requires $42,000 coin in
to achieve the 'A mailer' status that has for years been previously set
at $10,000. Yes, they do mean coin in and not points (in case you were
wondering). And unlike when Southpoint recently raised their play
requirement from $7,500 to $10,000 in a transparent manner that was
clearly stated on large signs near the promotion booth, Coast had made
no effort to make this aware to anyone and even some booth personel
were not aware of the change. I cannot confirm this change applies to
Suncoast and Orleans at this time, but my hunch is that it does.

So over the last few weeks earned points are now worth 1/3 what they
used to be, full pay machines require twice as much coin in to earn a
point, and mailer requirements have been more than quadrupled. Somehow
I see the phrase "keeps getting better" diferently than Coast.

i think i'll wait till you get a third or fourth hand report before
putting much credence in it...don't think the 'a mailer' was ever
10k...

In the unlikely event that you're wondering how folks manage to put
capital letters at the start of sentences, be advised that it's not all
that difficult - simply press the SHIFT button at the same time as you
type the first letter of the sentence - it's not really all that
difficult.
