On their website it says that the amount of VIP credits earned varies by game.

I'm curious if anyone knows the exact amount it requires PER VIP Credit?
If memory serves me it was $6 coin-in per VIP Credit ($1 coin-in per credit, but every 6 credits was 1 "VIP Credit")

The following info pertains to the Reno GDW only. The Carson City GDW is different.
It takes $1 reel slots or $1.50 vp to earn one cashback point. 2000 cashback points equals $10 free play and $2.50 in food comps.

The VIP accrual rate is based upon the "theo" assigned to each machine or bank of machines and, therefore, varies across the casino. It is "machine" based and not "game" based. VIP credits have nothing to do with earning free play or food comp dollars. They are currently used only to determine your card level...3000 = white gold, 7000 = black gold, 14000 = ultimate gold. VIP credits are accrued over a 6 month period to determine one's card level for the subsequent 6 months. Accrual periods are January thru June and July thru December.

The 4 gamemakers with FP pickem were removed a few months ago. They were the only non-tito machines left in the casino and the slot techs say they had difficulty getting replacement parts for them. They will not be back.

OK, thank you. That's exactly what I wanted to know.
OK, so I need to go back and recalculate my numbers, because I Was basing credits off of $1 coin-in, when video poker takes $1.50.
I spoke with a higher up at GDW-Carson and she said that the 6 months is "rolling", but I figured it wasn't. I'll wait until January to begin my play then. I will also check the VIP credit accrual across machines. (Like I said, when I was there years ago, it seemed like it was $6 per VIP playing 8/5 BP.)
