Gold Coast point multiplyer days

Hi,

I'm coming to town next week and staying at the Gold Coast. I
expected to see some sort of point multiplyer (6x,7x) at least on
Valentine's Day but I don't see any indications of that either in the
Player's Edge column or the Las Vegas Advisor Slot Bonus Points
section. Can anyone give me an update if something is advertised in
the casino?

Thanks for your help.

John,
the wife and I are each getting 7x points at the Gold Coast from 2/15
to 2/18. (which are the same days Stations is giving 7x points) I
don't know if that is for us based on our level of play or for the
general public. A call to them might be in order.

The GC was having problems with its system. On 2/7, Chinese New
Years, we were supposed to get 8x points, but it wasn't adding on the
multiplier. When I went to the booth, they said that everyone was
complaining. As of yesterday afternoon, the bonus points were still
not added.

That's not good. Mailers from the Sun Coast and Sam's had 8x on the
calendar for 2/7 so I went to the Gold Coast thinking it was a Coast-
wide promo (I don't get GC mailers, yet). I asked the booth
attendant before I played whether they had 8x points available to the
public or if it was mailer only. She said everyone gets it. That's
the only reason I played there (and wound up doing 232180 coin-in).
When I played and noticed I wasn't getting credited 8x, I spoke to
another booth attendant who said no one was getting credited but he
assured me that it will be taken care of. Now if it winds up being
mailer-only, even though I was told be two different employees that I
would get 8x points, am I going to get screwed out of $1400 cash back
(it was crediting 2x points)? Or do I have any recourse in saying
that their employees were telling the public that they would get 8x
points, and therefore should get the multiplier because I would not
have played otherwise? If they do try to screw me, does anyone know
who I should talk to about this?

Thanks in advance.

I showed a jump in my Coast points Friday when I put my card in. So it
looks like it their was a delay posting the 8X.

When I was there late this afternoon, the 8x multiplier did not show up
for neither my wife nor I. Went to the booth abd they put in a trouble
ticket.

The boothling stated the system was down half a day (didn't specify
which day) and they were having trouble with it.
