Gold Coast FPDW downgrade has commenced

It's a little different for visitors who use the GC as a place to stay that
doesn't kill your budget.
The comps have been relatively easy to get there including weekends.
That's why we've made it our uptown home base.

If the full pay disappears from there I don't know if we'll have any uptown
options for our weekend trips !!!

I noticed this morning that 18 (8 in front of Arriva and 10 across from

the ice cream parlor) quarter FPDW machines have been downgraded to NSUD.

I think it is safe to conclude that the plague of short sightedness that
first appeared at the Suncoast & Orleans has metastasized at the Gold Coast.
The madness will end, when the bottom line goes south on ALL Coast
properties. The Stations, Palms, Tuscany, Plaza and MSS are all viable
alternatives for the informed and enlightened player interested in saving
FPDW from extinction. I think we can live without an extra $25 bucks a month
and tickets to see Air Supply without breaking stride.

I agree. I have reservations at GC for the end of May. If all FPDW
disappears, I will reconsider my options. I'm also staying at the Palms
during that trip, which requires considerable more play for room comps. The
rooms at the Palms are very nice and the inventory of full pay games is
excellent. In the past, I have stayed at the Plaza and other downtown
venues which have FPDW but this is not an option when I travel with SWMBO.
I have significant points from Terribles that go back to their full pay LD
and Joker Poker days. Rooms can be had there for as little as 4,000 points
on weekdays. The rooms are surprisingly nice.
