I watched this last night, but when a movie has goofy things in it (i.e.
$100 for a full house on single line 25¢ VP) I tend to lose interest. There are
enough real-life serious problems with gambling, and exaggerating
circumstances isn't necessary.
We all know there have been problem gamblers, and basically, this is what the
movie was about. I know of 2 women in Milwaukee, one who pilfered gambling
funds from her employer to the tune of over $100,000 and one who actually robbed
a bank and went straight to the casino with the dough!
I always thought the latter would make a good mini-movie.
