Better play them quick as I doubt they will survive much longer. Since
GN stopped giving locals 2X points on Wednesdays and Fridays for $1 and
up video poker, they have become very popular. I have even witnessed two
machine players which is usually the kiss of death for plays these days.
When I played on 11/10 and 11/12 ( wednesday and friday), I played quite a bit but only once had to wait for a machine and that was only for 10 minutes or so. I looked at the other people playing and saw a lot of short coin, poor play. Not everyone was even playing DB. I did see one fellow with his copy of the Dancer strategy card tucked in his How to win at Texas Hold 'em book but he was only playing one machine and looked pretty frequently at his strategy card. The casino was crowded both days.
Even though its nickels, it is still pretty easy to go up or down $250 in an hour.
