I believe that Karen perceived a "snipe" at Dan Paymar
and didn't believe it was necessary. Karen and I now
agree that Asst. Moderator type comments should be
left to me, and that it's my job to handle rules violations.
Also, It's not necessary and is often counter-productive
to try and act as the group's conscience when you disagree
with a post. Disagree, within the rules, if you like, but
members are capable of making their own judgments.

I am addressing the message, not the messenger. Please tell me
what was wrong with the comment about snake oil. I took it as just
a comment to mean that this site was an information site and not a
commercial profit making site. What am I missing?
