Giving to YOU a Bellagio 102% high roller casino mistake play

Now that I've got your attention. My sister and bro in law are coming to
Vegas this weekend and stay there. Is there any sort of playable video poker for
quarters like 8/5 Bonus or Jacks 9/6?
Thanks,
Drain

This would be a good post for a moderator to take down.

And now that we've got YOUR attention, your sister and high-rolling
hubby should instead put in a solid two hours at the Imperial Palace.
25c play is fine. Then, have a host there call Michelle, Mimi or any
other Bellagio Executive Host to have their play rated.

I'm positive they will be comped appropriately. And get your
comped "O" VIP seats early, as it often sells out.

I just got a "Grand Opening Introduction Special Offer" that includes my normal reduced room rate ($69), a couple of Stomp Out Loud tickets, shopping certificates. But the one that I'd like to know more about is the "Fly back for only $19 round-trip airfare certificate" Has anyone ever used this? What are the restrictions? Does your companion ticket have to be at full fare?

I live in the Fort Worth Texas area and usually travel to Vegas 2 times a year to visit my money (it's amazing what it builds). The cheapest airfare is around $298 on US Air but I usually fly American for a few more bucks because they are more reliable. So this would be at least a $270 comp.

Due to the Wright Amendment phase out, I could fly Southwest but have to stop and their fares out of Love Field are a lot more than American.

I've been getting room offers from the Aladdin/PH since their reopening back in 2001 and have found their rooms and location one of the best values in Vegas. Stayed earlier this year in one of their made over rooms. Almost as good as the Wynn but a lot less $$. The room's theme was "GHOST" with Demi Moore and Patrick Swazie, real neat. The only thing they didn't change from the old Aladdin days was the Arabic sink faucets.

Chetkl

To tell you the truth, I really don't know. The wife and I spread out our gambling budget between VP, Blackjack and Craps. I always give my card to the dealer and have been rated on all.

The VP varies all over the casino.

Well, I got on another degenerate gambler list

I've never played at PH and it's been 18-19 years
since I played at the Aladdin & it was not an electronic
players card in those days, it was incased in plastic with
you name typed on it.

I also got the Grand Opening Introduction Special offer:
Two complementary nights in a suite
$200 promotional gaming chips or slot credits
$50 dining credit (select restaurants)
Two Stomp Out Loud ( based on availability ) or
The Beauty of Magic Hans Klok
Fly back for only $19 round-trip airfare certificate.
Good through February 28.

Would of loved this to be good through March, Moody Blues
is schedule to play there.

Best Regards,
Lolly

I got the identical offer, Lolly, but I have played there. I did $60K
in one day over Labor Day weekend. Thought this offer was a little
cheap compared to ones I've received in the past.

Hey Mare,

The only reason I was mentioning the offer was because I have NO prior
play there and for sure I would use the $19 airfare offer.

I thought PH had cash back, no? even if they did, from what I can see,
there is nothing better than 8/5 BP.

Best Regards,
Lolly

Hi Lolly,

I know -- you must've been on some hosts list or something to get the
offer.

Did you read the fine print regarding the airfare certificate?

"Airfare certificates are presented at check-in for use on a future
trip to Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. Airfare certificate is
redeemable for one $19 round-trip ticket on a future Las Vegas visit
when booking a roundtrip airline ticket within the Continental U.S.
for you and a companion, plus a two or more night stay at Planet
Hollywood Resort & Casino. All taxes and fees on airline tickets are
paid by the passenger. Additional requirements printed on the airfare
certificate are applicable."

Yes, PH does have cash back -- .33% if you're a gold card member, .25%
with regular membership. All it takes to get to gold is $30K coin in.
You're correct about the best game being $1 8/5 BP.

Since I'm dumping HET and MGM/Mirage I'll be using PH as my strip
hotel (maybe V down the road, too). Silverton, GVR, and Red Rock will
be my staples.

Hope we can do lunch again soon!

Thanks Mare.

Taxes on my airfare runs about $20. so, looks like the airfare will
cost about $40 r/t, a savings ofwell over $100+ per person. The only
hiccup I see is that 8/5 BP, I will have to keep my action down.

Love your staple casinos, they are mine too plus, Sunset Station and
South Point.

Would you believe I never got Silverton's NYE offer? so much for being
on the A list......lol.

I'm ready also, for one our marathon lunches!

Happy Thanksgiving,
Lolly

My only thought about that airfare voucher is that it requires ANOTHER
2 night stay at PH. I'd like to know if that means you have to
PURCHASE 2 nights or if they can be comped nights. I'm always
suspicious of those things.

The Silverton NYE invitations haven't been mailed yet, believe it or
not. Rick told me yesterday that they've been approved and will be
mailed shortly. That's the only thing I hate about Silverton's
marketing department -- invitations ALWAYS go out very late for
everything. I normally make my plans 2 - 3 months in advance and then
end up having to change them if something comes through that's worth
it from Silverton. It's a pain in the butt.

Anyway, level 1 is supposed to be $600 in free play -- $300 usable the
first 2 days, the other $300 available the next. I hate it that way --
want to be able to use it all at the same time like every other place
I go that gives free play. The offer is also supposed to include a
dinner at Twin Creeks, but I don't know which night or if it's a set
menu deal or not. In any case, it sounds like this offer is much less
than NYE 2005/2006 that was $1,000 free play, nice gift (large
Waterford crystal bowl), 2 tix to Hootie & the Blowfish, and a special
dinner (was a set menu). Seems like all of Silverton's offers have
decreased in value since 2005 when I played there a lot. :frowning:

Let me know when you can go to lunch!

Happy Thanksgiving to you (AND EVERYONE HERE!)!
Mare
