Every room offer I have ever gotten has had a statement saying that
the offer was non-transferable. Casinos want the free rooms to be
used by people who have shown that they will gamble, and they check ID
when you check in, to make sure that you are the person to whom the
offer was sent. Chances are that if your friend attempts to check in
using your offer, the casino will not honor the offer. Having said
that, let's say that you actually go to the hotel and check in, and
then give your friend the key, and during his stay no play is recorded
on your account. You certainly would then be a less attractive client
for the casino, and you should expect to receive reduced offers in the
future, or perhaps none at all.
That seems fair..G.
