Giving A Friend Your Casino Stayover Room

Howdy
If I gave a friend my room for the night and he did not gamble at all would
that affect my future stays or other offers?

Every room offer I have ever gotten has had a statement saying that
the offer was non-transferable. Casinos want the free rooms to be
used by people who have shown that they will gamble, and they check ID
when you check in, to make sure that you are the person to whom the
offer was sent. Chances are that if your friend attempts to check in
using your offer, the casino will not honor the offer. Having said
that, let's say that you actually go to the hotel and check in, and
then give your friend the key, and during his stay no play is recorded

on your account. You certainly would then be a less attractive client for the casino, and you should expect to receive reduced offers in the future, or perhaps none at all. --- In vpFREE@yahoogroups.com, BANDSTAND54@... wrote:

The question is not whether your friend gambles but rather how much you will gamble while your friend is in the hotel.

If you will not be gambling while your friend is staying in the hotel, then it will be seen as a "zero" trip for you which may reduce your future offers.

It is easy to add your friend as a "share with" on the room beforehand.
That way he can check in easily. And whether your friend gambles or not,
YOU SHOULD, even without a room. That way future offers aren't affected.
