You can limit racism with civil rights laws and education. As far as
removing it forever from the face of the planet- that is probably not going to
happen.
Of course you can always use this fact as an excuse to keep PC at
ridiculous levels and keep Affirmative Action going until the sun turns into a
red giant, but I don't think you will have much success with that unless
you are able to turn this country from a democratic republic into a
dictatorship.
But, never fear, Obama has the answer. Around page 800 of his easy
reading health care bill, you might discover that who gets into medical school
will depend more on race than on test scores.
Obama opposes reparations for the simple reason that they don't go
far enough. He has stated words to the effect that reparations will give
society the false impression that the bill has been paid.
The bill will NEVER be paid (my words, not His). The sin of slavery comes
with a very heavy and eternal price.
